What's Hiding Inside You?
If you told ancient Israel that one day the Spirit of God would move out of the temple and into human hearts, they would either weep or stone you. But what once dwelled behind a veil now burns behind our ribs. And where that fire blazes, the glory of God shines.
On the Day of Atonement, the high priest entered the Most Holy Place with trembling hands and blood on his garments. He was the only man in Israel allowed to stand before the presence of God. He did not linger. He did not sit. He entered with sacrifice and left with awe.
But Jesus, our Great High Priest, did not come out the same way He went in. He entered the heavenly sanctuary with His own blood, and when He emerged, He came bearing an unimaginable gift. He poured the gift of the Holy Spirit on the waiting, the weary, and the unworthy.
What was once unreachable has now become personal. God no longer reveals Himself in a secret, secluded place. He discloses Himself in His holy people, sanctified and set apart by His Spirit.
The Spirit does not hover above an ark. He inhabits people. Ordinary, clay-formed, cracked people. People who still struggle, still ache, still hunger for righteousness. But they dare now filled.
The shift is staggering:
-
From golden rooms to yielded hearts
-
From burning incense to burning love
-
From fearful distance to adopted closeness
-
From veiled glory to unveiled transformation
Paul’s words hit harder when you know the backdrop: “Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit?” (1 Corinthians 6:19). What was once shielded behind cherubim is now carried into living rooms, boardrooms, kitchens, and quiet moments of surrender.
You don’t need to find a Holy Place. You are one.
So let the Spirit do what He came to do:
-
Dwell fully
-
Burn brightly
-
Transform deeply
-
Empower boldly
-
And lead tenderly
The veil has been torn.
The temple has moved.
And the fire hasn’t gone out.
It is burning brighter than ever.
Signoff
You were made to carry the presence of God.
Walk today with that fire alive inside you.
Have a fantastic week ahead!
